Session 1: Skills with People (inspired by the book of Les Giblin)
No matter what your career is, your success will be determined by 5% of your academic credentials,15% by your professional experience, and 80% by your skills with people!
This session can save your office money and can save your career or better yet, gives you an “unfair advantage”. Whether we like it or not, no matter who they are, people would like to work with people who are likeable.
Speaker: Titus Manuel has been in the IT industry for over 30 years He has taught in some of the outstanding universities, implemented successful programs in sales, human resources and training in some of the most notable companies. He is a two-time President of the Philippine Computer Society.
Session 2: Metro Dagupan ICT: Model of persistence, perseverance and partnership
The Metro Dagupan ICT Community is a learning organization that aims to deliver and implement ICT awareness, initiatives, and developments in Dagupan City, and in the Province of Pangasinan. It provides trainings and job opportunities for our community.
Speaker: Francis Fernandez, MDICT Council Co-founder and Charter President and CEO of Advanced TechInnovation Systems (ATS) possesses 14 years of progressive management experience in human resources and administrative operations. He is a seasoned L&OD professional specializing in development of human capital strategies for management in Learning, Quality, and Organization Development (including Competency-based interventions).
Session 3: Disrupt or Transform? Emerging victorious in a digitally intertwined world
The world continues to go digital and companies and people are either embracing this, going against the flow or carving their own paths. The talk will discuss digital transformation and disruption and how it impacts people and corporations. It will also share the current state of digital in the Philippines (and the world) and how firms can plug into this and align their current and future services to be more competitive and avoid being disrupted. As an added feature, the speaker will also share his journey from being a loyal, die-hard corporate citizen to an entrepreneur.
Speaker: Sam Jacoba is the current Chief Growth Officer of DOXCHECK, Inc. He is an alumnus of Microsoft, Yahoo! and Intel, with stints in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. He jumped from corporate to entrepreneurship almost two years ago and is currently nurturing two startups that deliver digital and mobile solutions to consumer and enterprise-focused institutions. He also helps other startups and established businesses to navigate through the local market and in parallel, go global.
